As the winter season enters, remember
to maintain your dog's activity. Exercise not only keeps your dog alert, but it
helps them stay healthy. It bonds you closer together, too. Thus, before the
winter comes, be sure to adapt your pet's exercise routine.
Athletic personality isn't natural to all dogs. If you have an active one that runs and jumps a lot, plays catch and retrieving games, wintertime will not be a hindrance. Like with other seasons, winter mustn't stop your dog from jogging, hiking, rollerblading, throwing Frisbee, practicing obedience, and working on his agility skills. Just be sure that pathways and parks are free of ice and snow.
During the cold season, dogs must consume their energy to perform and keep themselves warm. Knowing your dog so much, you can see if he's already tired or he overexerted and now needs some treats.
