Looking like a wild cat that thrives in the wild, the Bengal is a fascinating breed. These felines have the appearance of a leopard — complete with their muscular bodies, broad and long head, and oval eyes.
The legs of these athletic cats are medium in length, but you will notice that the front legs are shorter than those at the back. What about their paws? They are round and large, ideal for running and climbing high. The bellies of Bengal cats have spots noticeable when they roll over.
When you see a Bengal cat, you will immediately spot her pelt which is thick, but short, silky, and soft. The pelts of Bengal cats come in varied patterns and colors, including silver lynx point, seal mink tabby, black silver tabby, and brown tabby. Meanwhile, the patterns range from marbled, standing line patterns, or random spots. But do you know that some Bengal cats are “glittered”? The pelts of these felines are tipped with a speck of gold dust, making them shimmer in the light.
