To bunny-proof your home, follow these tips:
Cover wires with hard plastic sleeves or flex tubing to protect them from being chewed and damaged by your rabbit. It's also a good idea to keep all wires out of reach.
Protect your baseboards and mouldings by covering them with plastic guards, 2x4s, or furring strips. You can also attach wood panels to your mouldings using velcro strips.
Keep houseplants out of reach or remove them from your home altogether, as many plants can be toxic to rabbits. Be sure to research which plants are safe and which are dangerous for your rabbit.
Consider using baby gates or other barriers to block off areas of your home that you don't want your rabbit to access.
Keep an eye on your rabbit when they are exploring your home and take steps to protect any valuable or fragile items that might be damaged by chewing.
