It can get really cold in the winter. Although your dog has
thick fur to keep him warm, that doesn’t mean he can’t get chilly every once in
a while! You just have to know when he gets cold so you can do something about
it.
When we get cold, we may shake or shiver. Dogs do the same.
If you see your pup shaking or shivering, it's time to take him inside.
Your pet's behavior can also be a good sign that he's
uncomfortable. Dogs that are cold may whine or bark more than usual, or he may
seem anxious or generally uncomfortable.
Turning around and pulling on the leash to go home is a good
sign he’s cold too! For help
keeping your dog warm while you’re out in the cold, contact your local veterinary
clinic Burlington, ON.
