Has your dog be prescribed a pill? If you don’ t know how to give
your dog a pill, please call your vet and ask for the vet tech’s
assistance. Many times daily vitamins, antibiotics or other supplements
can come in a pill form and require you to administer them to your dog
for him to swallow. You can use pill pockets to hide these pills. You
can also add peanut butter to the pill to help disguise the look and the
taste. If this doesn’t work then give your vet a call and ask for help.
You may need to be shown how to give your dog a pill before you can try
on your own. Simply open the dog’s mouth, place the pill on the back of
the tongue and gently hold the mouth shut. You may need to gently blow
