Checking of your pet’s body should be done regularly so any
lumps or bumps that were not there before can be brought to the attention of a
veterinarian sooner rather than later. Skin tumors are very common in dogs and
some breeds have a higher risk of developing a skin tumor as adults or seniors.
Tumors are not always malignant. There are also benign or non-spreading,
non-cancerous tumors, thus it’s important for any lump to be examined
by a veterinarian.
