Shedding is a physiological phenomenon that naturally happens in all dogs. Shedding is a way for dogs to get rid of old as well as damaged hair, and this eventually gives new hair space to develop and grow. Not all dog breeds are equal when it comes to shedding; Some breeds tend to shed more hair than others. Shedding of hair should be one of the considerations of a prospective dog owner when choosing a dog to care for.
